This new (car) sells for $2,500+ Cover Golf Cars Electric and Gas sell for over $10,500 where I live if they modified it so it would fit on Golf cart trails they would sell thousands of these in Florida.

I think at this price people should seriously consider buying one for in town and errand running use. Also for any trip within about 25 to 50 miles. It would save on use of the big cars fuel demand. It is more reasonable to own one of these than a power boat and just imagine all the money and fuel use for boats by a large percentage of the population especially in states that have lots of water.
