Chrysler has announced the recall of 186,099 model year 2007-09 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty pickup trucks equipped with the 6.7-liter Cummins diesel engine. The voluntary recall has been issued due to an engine defect that could cause the check engine light to come on. Chrysler will be sending letters to owners of 2006 and 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokees, Commanders, and Wranglers, as well as 2007 Dodge Nitros. Those vehicles fall under the company's latest recall to fix a potential problem with their brakes.
