Lexus Reviews
Lexus is the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Toyota that was launched in the U.S. back in 1989. The brand initially began with one model, the LS large sedan, but has expanded to include coupes, convertibles, SUVs and CUVs. Lexus was the first Japanese luxury brand to seriously compete with German marques thanks to its sterling reputation for quality.

0Review: 2011 Lexus IS F [w/video] 1324400220
New Updates Soften Japan's Super Sedan Mid-course corrections are a common occurrence when speaking about high-flying commercial aircraft and oceangoing freighters – both are often pushed off track by errant winds and powerful currents. But when it comes to automobiles, a mid-course correction can be a sign that something was wrong the moment a new ...

Review: 2012 Lexus LFA 1318521420
Can You Overdose On One Day With An LFA? Medical dictionaries define a drug as "any article intended to affect the structure or any function of the body of humans." The 2012 Lexus LFA is not a supercar, it is a narcotic. Twist the carbon-fiber key of the Lexus flagship and listen to its race-bred V10 wail. Within seconds of the sound reaching the ...

Review: 2011 Lexus IS 250 AWD 1301587080
A Vanilla Sport Sedan In Need Of Some More Sprinkles Your available options in the entry-level luxury sedan segment rival the variety found at your local Baskin-Robbins. Interested in all-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive or front-wheel drive? Nearly every automaker has you covered. Want to row your own gears, or sit back and let the silicon chippery do the ...

Review: 2011 Lexus GX 460 1298653080
Despite the rise of the crossover, there's still a market for traditional SUVs. Moreover, some buyers don't want to sacrifice luxury to get the capability that a full-frame, truck-based sport utility offers. Lexus makes the GX 460 for consumers who want a blend of opulence and a sure-footed, full-frame, locking-transfer-case 4x4 architecture that's not ...

Review: 2010 Lexus HS 250h 1282060620
A Perfect Prius It Is Not Lexus likes to say that it pursues perfection. Toyota's luxury brand has been playing the hybrid game for a while now with converted gas-powered models like the LS, GS and RX hybrids, and few would argue that these models represent the zenith of what a luxury hybrid can be. For that, Lexus finally decided to build a dedicated ...

Review: 2010 Lexus ES 350 is soft-riding royalty that's lost its crown 1280505480
The entry-level luxury sedan segment doesn't command the enthusiast attention of, say, the ultra-premium luxury sports sedan. But if you ask automakers to choose between the two, we'd wager that most would rather have a best-in-class $35,000 sedan than a world-beating $70,000 sports tourer. The reason? Very few fortunes are made selling a few thousand ...

Review: 2010 Lexus LS460 Sport could'a been a contenda 1267808280
With Lexus having carefully cultivated a reputation for isolating drivers from all of the undignified sensations normally associated with driving, it might seem surprising to find a Sport model in the LS lineup. Sure, Lexus offers the M3-chasing IS F, as well as the outrageous LFA supercar, but an LS460 Sport? Come on... even sport-synonymous BMW doesn't ...

Review: Lexus GS450h uses electrons for fun 1267203420
The love affair with batteries begins as a child. By the time your fifth Christmas rolls around, the moment you unwrap an electronic gadget your mind is already processing the thought, "Santa better have brought batteries..." Not only does that relationship continue as an adult, but what was once a simple tryst – "Mom, I need batteries for my ...

Review: 2010 Lexus IS 350C F-Sport is a mixed, expensive bag 1265216220
When Toyota launched Lexus in 1989, it had one goal in mind: Beat the Germans at the luxury game. And for a while, at least, they did exactly that. The LS400 didn't change everything, but it manifested a shift in the luxury paradigm. However, the LS400 was at the top of the heap, competing against the mighty S-Class from Mercedes-Benz and the 7 Series ...

Review: 2010 Lexus RX450h is the pinnacle of autonomous fuel-sippers 1262710620
With a slew of sensors and CPUs, the 2010 Lexus RX450h can pretty much drive itself. Want to go somewhere? Sit down in the driver's seat, use the Remote Touch device (a.k.a. "mouse") to tell the crossover where you want to go, and follow the easy-as-store-bought-pie instructions to your destination. Whether or not this is a good thing depends on how ...
