New ‘Magnum P.I.’ has fake Ferrari, fake Tom Selleck
Wait, that's the new "Magnum P.I."? That guy? Really? I mean, he doesn't need to have a mustache. Or a Hawaiian shirt. Or really short shorts. But come on, there's nothing displayed by Jay Hernandez in the above "Magnum P.I." trailer that says "I have charisma and likability comparable to Tom Selleck." Now, is that even possible? Probably not, Tom Selleck is, well, Tom Selleck. But much as Chris Pine successfully captured Captain Kirk's bravado without doing a William Shatner impression
Watch an air jet keep a motorcycle from wiping out
The future will be cool, because it has motorcycles with jet thrusters. No, not flying motorcycles, they're still very much ground vehicles. But they're still really cool, because they could save you some nasty injuries and expensive repairs.
Consumer Reports, Edmunds observe significant problems with Tesla Model 3 test cars
The Tesla Model 3 has finally been making its way into the eager hands of owners, and since Tesla hasn't been providing test vehicles to the press (as every other car manufacturer does), publications have been relying on those owners to lend or rent them their cars for evaluation purposes. We did just that for our Tesla Model 3 First Drive.
2019 Chevy Corvette Z06 spied testing with ZR1 wing, roll cage, lots of orange
The Chevy Corvette line is pretty well rounded at this point, starting with the plain old Stingray up to the beastly, hardcore ZR1, with the Grand Sport and Z06 filling in the gaps. But it looks like yet another Corvette niche could appear, as evidenced by the above spy shots. They show a Corvette Z06, but with a ZR1 wing and more. And by more, we mostly mean "orange."
Sharpen your hunting knife on your car window? | Car Hacks
Life hacks are all the rage these days. Unfortunately, most of the tricks found across the web aren't actually very helpful. While using dental floss to cut a birthday cake might be a decent party trick in a pinch, it's probably not something you'll use very often.
VW highlights five custom cars from Atlas to Arteon
The Wörthersee VW meet in Europe may be the biggest and most famous, but it's far from the only one. An American counterpart, SoWo: The European Experience, kicked off this weekend in Georgia for European cars. And as with Wörthersee, VW had some new custom vehicles to show off. It brought modified versions of the Jetta, Golf, Arteon, Atlas and Tiguan.
Meghan Markle to get royal James Bond driving instruction
Meghan Markle sped into the lifestyle of British royalty Saturday when Prince Harry whisked her to the wedding reception in a gorgeous electric Jaguar E-Type Zero. Next up: a little James Bond-type evasive driving instruction.
600-horsepower Porsche Mission E gets Mark Webber's seal of approval
Porsche continues to make progress in developing its Mission E electric sports sedan, and apparently it's made enough of them to let former F1 driver and recent Porsche 919 Hybrid endurance car driver Mark Webber take a turn behind the wheel. The company got his test drive on video, along with his impressions. He seems quite pleased.
2019 Subaru Ascent First Drive Review | A three-row do-over
The brand-new 2019 Subaru Ascent could very well be called the Mulligan. You may have heard the term used by amateur golfers as a sort of do-over for an egregiously bad first shot. But in the case of the Ascent, Subaru's largest-ever vehicle, it means that the Japanese automaker gets one more chance to build a successful three-row crossover for America.
