Watch this 6-year-old ride a Harley in the desert [w/poll]

Did your parents ever let you do something as a kid, and you later realized how dangerous it was? Well, depending on your outlook, the adult in this video is either the coolest guy ever or the most reckless. While on a motorcycle ride, he taps the young boy in front of him on the helmet and hands over complete control.

REPORT: Federal laws keeping Volvo from offering safer child seats [w/POLL]

The safety-conscious folks over at Volvo have been hard at work with child seat maker Britax-Romer on developing a range of next-generation infant, child, and booster seats. And while the seats are going on sale elsewhere in the world, they apparently face an obstacle in the US: the National Higway Traffic Safety Administration. How's that? Driving School: Mother arrested for letting 11-year-old daughter drive

A mother in Tel Aviv had her license revoked by local police when she let her 11-year-old daughter drive her car. Israeli traffic police pulled the car over when they saw a shorter-than-usual driver behind the wheel, and when questioning the mother, she answered that it was a reward for getting a good grade in school. Power Wheels were magically self-propelled by something called ewectwicitee and cost hundreds of dollars ($8 bajillion in kid money). I never got one and am emotionally scarred because of it, but am waiting for the day I have my own mini-me and can spoil him on his fifth birthday with his very first car.

California to ban smoking in cars with kids

Senators in California are close to passing a bill that would prohibit smoking in vehicles carrying children who are required by law to ride in a child seat. The bill proposed by Assemblyman Paul Koretz (D-West Hollywood) recently received a 23-14 vote that sent it back to the Assembly, and with our underdeveloped comprehension of state politics we can't really tell you how close that means the bill is to landing on the Governator's desk, but we think it's pretty close. And to think I was freake
