Here's a good way to own a new bike that looks like it's from 1972.

Haven Jarel may still be in his early teens, but that hasn't stopped him from building an award-winning cafe racer in his dad's an amazing warehouse shop. He's already started crafting his first car, too.

Japan may be best known, at least among motorcycle enthusiasts, for its sport bikes. But as we found at the Tokyo Motor Show this year, Japanese motorcycle manufacturers are capable of producing all kinds of motorbikes. And to our delight, that includes cafe racers.

The retro-coolness of the Fiat 500 is such that it naturally lends itself to customization. So, when we first heard tell that the company was preparing a stripped-down Café Racer concept, a beach-ready 500C and a brace of Magneti Marelli cars for this year's SEMA show, our interest was piqued.

We don't remember the last time we heard the phrase "cafe racer" applied to a car, but we'll get to see just such a beast at this week's SEMA show. Fiat is applying the cafe racer philosophy to a 500, which means chopping it, dropping it and stripping the lightweight machine down even further, "Taking it down to the essence of what you need to drive a car."

Hollywood Electrics isn't Zero Motorcycles' top dealership by accident. The retail shop is all in on all-electrics, and it doesn't stop at simple sales and service. It also offers unique personalizations of the bikes it sells, along with complete custom creations. Its newest product takes that revamp ethos to eleven: introducing the Zero Cafe Racer with iPad integration.

Discovery is launching a new cable network to cater specifically toward well-moneyed male auto enthusiasts. According to the network, Velocity is set to serve up around 400 hours of programming that includes a mix of new shows as well as reruns of old favorites. Some of those will be pulled from HD Theater, including Inside West Coast Customs, Mecum Auto Auctions, Cafe Racer and Chasing Classic Cars. So far
