This ended about how we predicted. You all no doubt remember McFly, the guy that won a legit eBay auction for a slightly used Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T for $16,125. Problem was that the seller – Glenn Hyundai of Lexington, KY – felt the car was worth more ($19,700) and refused to sell it to McFly. They claim they set a reserve price (even though they didn't) and wouldn't budge. End of story, kind of.

The BBC is planning to turn some of its most popular shows into video games, and along with Doctor Who and a kiddie show called The Night Garden, the Beeb is considering a console version of our favorite motoring show, Top Gear. There's not a lot (or any) information on how the Top Gear game will work, but we do know that the BBC is most interested in creating the games for the Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii. However, the BBC is also interested in a Facebook game as well as an iPhone version.
Loyalists will accept a less powerful 2.5-liter G-Series in the model range, but how will they embrace a front-wheel drive model from Nissan's upscale – and enthusiast targeted – Infiniti brand?

Usually, when we talk about a gas tax around these parts, it's because someone – the CEO of Ford, maybe, or just us – brings it up as a way to create demand for more fuel efficient vehicles. A higher gas tax could also help fix the national infrastructure while it makes people think twice about ignoring vehicle running costs.
The crew over at Inside Line got its hands on some rather curious spy photos of the new 2011 Nissan 370Z 40th Anniversary Edition. Why curious? Most of the time, spy photographers work from behind massive lenses at long distances because the secretive engineers don't want themselves or the car they're testing to be photographed. But these shots look almost... composed. Or at least like the person manning the camera is on a first name basis with the folks at Nissan.
