A paper V-8!

This is the most extraordinary thing I've see in a long while. It's a meticulously crafted model of a V8 engine. Made of paper. And it runs! The model is powered by a small electric motor at around 3-4 rpm. It was developed by Montreal artist Yee, who creates remarkable things from paper. More after the jump.

New Camaro to ride on Solstice platform?

News that GM will show a Camaro concept at the upcoming Detroit show isn't, well, news; however, if indeed it's riding on a stretched Kappa chassis, that would indeed qualify as a bit of a surprise. When Bob Lutz recently hinted that a growth spurt wasn't in the platform's future, that naturally led many (or at least myself) to assume that any future GM ponycar would ride on a derivative of the it's-off-no-it's-on-again Zeta platform (which itself is more a set of components and geometry,

Bank's withdrawal raises takeover fears at DaimlerChrysler

Long-time DaimlerChrysler anchor shareholder Deutsche Bank sold more than a third of its shares Tuesday, cutting its stake in the automaker to less than 5 percent. The solution tends to be the same across the industry; instead of focusing on reducing labor costs through prod

2007 Hyundai Santa Fe launches in Korea

Little information other than what we can glean from the pictures, but what we can see shows that the new Santa Fe is a huge improvement over the current version. Hyundai's Santa Fe-dedicated website is here (warning - lots of Flash). Autoblog reader Source1 reports that a Hyundai dealer told him that we can expect two engines, a 3.3-liter putting out 240-250 hp, and a 3.8-liter with 275-285 hp. Much more after the jump!
