Jennifer Lopez may be all well and fine for plugging the regular Fiat 500, but for the new Abarth version, Fiat's going to need something a little... racier. So for the latest spot advertising the arrival of the Scorpion-fettled Cinquecento, Fiat USA (also known as the import-flavored Chrysler division) took a decidedly different approach.

We have no idea what the heart-stoppingly gorgeous Italian model in the new commercial is saying, but then we don't really care. All we know is we'll never look at this hatchback quite the same. Follow the jump to watch the clip – just be forewarned that it may not be perfectly safe for work.

Um, whatever it is they're selling, I'll buy one. As soon as my heart rate returns to normal. That is a European style commercial for sure.

I'm surprised the political correctness or "family values" nitwits haven't come down on this commercial. The young lady is a stunner.

Hahaha. People only care about "family values" when it involves gay people or abortions. Lew sex and adultery are completely fine.

Are the TV nannies in the US even going to let that air?

Thats what i was wondering. I was watching it in class, and I felt very judged by the people in the rows behind me...

Much better, J-Lo commercial is embarrassing

Whoever decided to use JLO should've gotten fired! Fiat 500 target customers are not someone loves JLo, and people who are into JLo mostly will not buy Fiat 500. I am not saying who is better, all I am saying is that wrong commercial or brand image for the wrong target group. If you use JLo for a Chrysler 300, then it's more like it. For Fiat 500, it needs to be some hot cute girl/boy next door type (like the TMO girl) driving through chic high-end places or something. I am glad they finally woke up!

Chrysler made the same mistake when they killed the Pacifica with a launch campaign featuring Celine Dion. If a singer's biggest hits were 15 years ago they should not be in your car commercial, period. This ad for the Abarth is fantastic and they should reshoot the same ad for the rest of the 500 lineup.

That's the thing, who the heck still loves Jlo? Over the hill, not great at singing, the main spotlight she gets these days is still about her split with Marc Anthony. Boggles my mind as to how Chrysler thought she was a good choice. New add is much better (for obvious reasons)

I hate those stupid commercials with Jennifer Lopez (I refuse to shorten it to her stupid nickname, too). But this is excellent. Way to go Fiat.

From the youtube page: "TRANSLATION: What are you looking at? Uh!? What are you looking at?! (slap) Are you undressing me with your eyes? Poor guy…you can’t help it? Is your heart beating? Is your head spinning? Do you feel lost thinking that I could be yours forever?"

Dude, seduction central on that chick. I'm going to go and find me someone dressed like her that likes to 'play' with my coffee too.

Educational too since she so kindly let's people know how to correctly say the name of the car as "AHH-bart."

I bought two Fiat 500's and thought I had a poor mans mini cooper until I saw the J-Lo ads. My testoserone level dropped to null and void. I feel like I am getting some of my manhood back when I see this commercial. I'm glad they dropped the old ad agency. Now if you dont want this car to be branded a "girlie car" like the last VW New Beetle, my advice is to drop her also.

Absolutely EPIC recovery for the Fiat campaign... but is it too late?

This is a great commercial. I never really understood what they were going for with a J.Lo ad. It seems stupid to have a celebrity spokesperson for a car when every time they are photographed in public they're riding in a car by a different make.
