The next Kia Optima Hybrid and PHEV will largely follow the changes to the electrified Sonata. However, the Korean automaker won't yet confirm whether the updated models will come to the US.

Hyundai and Kia could be on the hook to pay at least $28.9 million to Paice LLC for patent infringement, but they are appealing.
