The 2003 Cog commercial from Honda may have been named one of the best car commercials of all time, but an all-new spot called Hands looks to be even more entertaining even if it's digitally enhanced. The two-minute video – which starts and ends with a nod to Cog – highlights just about all facets of Honda's universe of products from passenger cars to racecars, the HondaJet to leaf blowers, motorcycles, ATVs and even Asimo.

Celebrating 65 years of innovation, the advertisement is as informative as it is amusing, and it even injects a little humor, too, like a glass of water being squeezed from the FCX Clarity. We just hope that the 1:10 mark of the video isn't hinting at a CR-V Convertible. We're not sure when Hands will air or if we'll see it on television here in the US, but the video is posted below; as an added bonus, we've also included the video for Cog.

I'm sorry, but Cog will never be topped. No computer trickery, no BS, just a real life Rube Goldberg machine. This 'Hands' commercial is good, even clever, humorous at times and ingenious. But it isn't on the same level as Cog.

LOL at XPRESYRSLF, I suggest you go look at the IIHS ratings for all Honda and Acura models. You will discover they are the top company in safety ratings.

HONDA ! WHY NOT BUILD VEHICLES THAT WILL BE SAFER AND WILL NOT BE RECALLED YEARS DOWN THE ROAD. SPEND MORE MONEY ON SAFETY AND QUALITY OF VEHICLES NOT ON USELESS DECEPTIVE COMMERCIALS. THAT REALLY MEAN NOTHING TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND KEEP THE PRICES MORE AFFORDABLE INSTEAD. THAT IS IF HONDA REALLY CARED FOR ITS CUSTOMERS???...

If this is your primary concern then you really need to focus more of your negativity on the domestics son...

If only their cars were as interesting as their advertisement... like they used to be.

Was going to say the same thing. I think it applies to VW too. Better commercials than products.

I cannot agree with you, carguy1701. Both from reliability data and personal experience, VW has a lot to work on. The recent cheapening of their popular cars is not likely going to help either. At least Honda makes reliable cars that stand the test of time. I don't see a compelling reason to buy any VW other than for the TDI engine (which is finally starting to see some competition).

Somebody should research car before making an add. Civic is a FWD car. If I had extra time and money I would sue Honda for decieving people by making them believe Civic can do smoke donuts. Honda really fell low. From a fantastic car maker to money chaser. They dont have ANY "power of dream" car in their repertour

I believe the water being poured into a glass represents a hydrogen powered vehicle. Only result of hydrogen fuel is water!
