[00:00:00] 2015 was all about performance and power for the Blue Oval. I'm Chris McGraw and this your Autoblog Minute Year-in-Review for Ford Motor Company.

The 2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 R hit the streets with a 5.2L beast of a V8. Producing 586 HP and 529 lb-ft of torque this the most track capable Mustang ever. All that power in a lighter, 3,650 lb frame. Autoblog Senior Editor Greg Migliore described it as "wicked fast and quick as hell."

Super Duty is all new for 2017. The latest heavy duty truck will feature a new aluminum body that the automaker says will lead to improved performance in towing capacity and fuel economy. Ford also announced a 1.3 billion dollar investment into its Kentucky truck plant, allowing the automaker to build a new body shop, retool and upgrade the factory, and add 2,000 new jobs in its efforts to bring the super duty line to market.

The Escape, Ford's second best selling vehicle, gets a refresh for 2017. The refreshed design sees the escape returning to its explore roots. The crossover also has improvements in performance thanks a new 1.5-L EcoBoost four-cylinder and more cargo space.

And those are the highlights from Ford's year in review. For Autoblog, I'm Chris McGraw.
