The Renault Twizy will be sold in Canada. Azra Network will handle the importation and distribution of the first Renault model sold in North America since 1987. Two versions will be available; the Twizy 40 has a top speed of 40 kilometers per hour (25 miles per hour) while the Twizy 80 does – surprise – 80 kph (50 mph). Prices start at a little under $17,000, and deliveries are expected to begin in September. The Renault Kangoo is also under consideration for import to Canada, according to Azra Network VP Daniel Turcotte, but it's unclear if that includes the electric Kangoo ZE. If you live in Canada, and are interested on getting your hands on a Twizy, you can contact Azra for more information. Read more at Hybrid Cars.

Malaysia is set to impose a B10 biodiesel mandate beginning in October. The country will use about a million metric tons of crude palm oil per year to make the new biofuel diesel blend according to Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, up from the 700,000 metric tons currently used to make the B7 blend. Malaysia has had a B7 mandate in place since late last year. Read more from The Star.

Renault will begin assembly of the Bolloré Bluecar at its plant in Dieppe, France. Following an agreement made in September 2014, Renault will build the electric city car from parts provided by Bolloré at the factory in Normandy. The Bluecar was formerly only made in Italy. Renault's Dieppe plant currently makes the Clio RS 200 EDC and competition vehicles, and specializes in small production runs. "Bluecar is a great additional business opportunity for the Dieppe plant, and we appreciate Bolloré's trust in Renault Groupe's capability to meet their exacting quality and response-time demands," says Renault Groupe Dieppe director Laurent Delannay. Bolloré Bluecar assembled at Groupe Renault plant in Dieppe

• The Renault Groupe plant in Dieppe is starting assembly of Bolloré's Bluecar.
• Renault and Bolloré are stepping up electric vehicle cooperation following the partnership agreement of 9 September 2014.

Industrial cooperation agreement

In June 2015, the Groupe Renault Dieppe plant in northern France starts assembling the all-electric city car Bluecar, from bodies and parts brought in by Bolloré. Groupe Bolloré is phasing in assembly by Groupe Renault of its Bluecar model, previously only made in Italy. At Dieppe, the agreement is warmly welcomed for its positive impact on employment and as a sign of recognition of the plant's capabilities and know-how.

Renault Dieppe, specialists in small production runs

The Dieppe plant, which dates to 1969, specializes in small production runs. It currently makes Clio RS 200 EDC and competition vehicles. A dedicated assembly shop has been set up within the plant to handle the work on Bluecar, and will eventually employ thirty people. This provides Bolloré with access to a modern production system tailored to its needs.

For Renault Groupe Dieppe director Laurent Delannay:

« Bluecar is a great additional business opportunity for the Dieppe plant, and we appreciate Bolloré's trust in Renault Groupe's capability to meet their exacting quality and response-time demands. » Laurent Delannay
