Galpin Auto Sports is known for its custom tuning packages that transform all sorts of Fords into limited edition rides that would make Xzibit proud. Their latest offering is the Navigator LUX, which ups the luxury quotient of Lincoln's largest offering. The model it's based on is a Navigator 4x4, which is only available with a 300-hp 5.4L V8 and six-speed auto. To become a LUX, the Navi gets 27-inch Lexani wheels with accents that match the new Oxblood Red paint job. Much of the chrome trim has been muted by the rich red color, which makes the one-off Custom Strut grille stand out that much more.

The real deal is on the inside where a $10,000 5.5 carat Lex Diamond clock is embedded in the dash, a classy touch that should help this big SUV retain its resale value just fine. What are diamonds without champagne, though, so Galpin modified the rear center console with auto-rising champagne and flutes. Most of the interior trim has been replaced with finer leather, better wood and a custom fiberglass enclosure in the rear. In-car entertainment is more than taken care of by a custom-installed laptop, 10.4-inch touchscreen LCD, another 23-inch screen in the rear and an Xbox 360. The press release after the jump doesn't give up the goods on price, but we imagine the Galpin Auto Sports Lincoln Navigator LUX lives up to its name in every way, including its pricetag.

Traditional Elegance Redefined with the Debut of the Awe-Inspiring 2007 Lincoln Navigator LUX by G.A.S.

VAN NUYS, CA (January 2007) – Anchored in the future, yet drawing on inspirations from Lincoln's rich and storied past, Galpin Auto Sports (G.A.S.) creates a Navigator with a distinctive and opulent look and feel. Highlighted by dark, saturated colors, elegant wood trim details, gleaming chrome accents and state-of-the-art technology, the 2007 Lincoln Navigator LUX by Galpin Auto Sports stands above the crowd and reinterprets iconic sophistication.

This breath-taking interpretation of the 2007 Navigator made its public debut on December 1, 2006 in the Galpin Motor's booth in Kentia Hall at the Greater Los Angeles Auto Show at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The Lincoln Navigator LUX by G.A.S. takes an expressive and ultra-luxurious approach to the all-new 2007 model, while preserving all of the craftsmanship and elegant amenities that are so unmistakably Lincoln.

"We wanted to recreate the ambiance and textures of the great Lincolns of the past, which were loaded with luxurious embellishments, special amenities and sumptuous materials," said Beau Boeckmann, president of Galpin Auto Sports and consulting producer for MTV's hit show "Pimp My Ride." "This Navigator is designed to dazzle the senses and exude an atmosphere of pure luxury, much like a private jet or yacht."

G.A.S. started with an all-new 2007 Lincoln Navigator 4x4, equipped with a powerful 5.4-liter V8 engine and 6-speed automatic transmission. The reinvention began with attention-grabbing Lexani LX131 27-inch wheels cushioned in Nitto custom 305/45/22 tires. Stunning Oxblood custom paint lends an earthy, non-metallic, stylish finish that accentuates the Navigator's one-of-a-kind Custom Strut grille.

Inside, the amenities continue with a plush Edelman Luxe Calf Cherry interior that wraps the seats, headliner, door armrests, sun visors and center console armrests. The rear center console features auto-rising champagne and flutes. Extensive attention to detail was paid by G.A.S. when selecting and installing the most exquisite Rau custom maple burl wood trim throughout including the entire rear cargo area, custom shearling floor mats and custom fiberglass enclosures to refine the feeling of elegance. Going one step further towards ultimate luxury, G.A.S. included a one-of-a-kind 5.5 carat Lex Diamond clock with a retail price of $10,000, specially commissioned for the Navigator LUX. It should be noted that Lex Diamond is the fine jewelry industry's hottest new jeweler to the stars, including music artists, athletes and other A-list celebrities.
