Ryan Tuerk rings up a 40-second burnout in a Spyker C8 Aileron. Spyker recently went bankrupt, but has defied the odds and announced plans for a comeback, yet again. We've got our doubts about its prospects, but either way, we suspect this will be the first and last chance to see a Spyker hoon.
To paraphrase the once great weekend update anchor Chevy Chase, "Generalissimo Saab is still dead" and appears likely to stay that way. Bloomberg reports that Spyker is the last bidder standing to pick up the Swedish brand from General Motors, although Genii Capital and partner Bernie Eccelstone apparently haven't given up yet.

At last year's Geneva Motor Show we got our first glimpse of the Spyker C8 Aileron, the stretched and stiffened coupe that could replace the C8 Laviolette later this year. In keeping with its promise to deliver a production version of the C8 Aileron in 2009, Spkyer has released a teaser of its newest hypercar ahead of its reveal in Geneva next month.
