The Volvo C30 has smooth styling and a dynamic chassis. This sporty four-seater combines an exciting drive with Volvo's customary safety features.Available in T5 and R-Design trims the front-wheel drive C30 has a sporty front MacPherson strut/rear multi-link suspension. Powered by a 227-hp turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-five-cylinder engine, it is matched with a six-speed manual transmission or five-speed Geartronic automatic. The safety features are up to Volvo's excellent standards with six airbags, seatbelt pretensioners, whiplash protection, side-impact protection, and stability traction control. For 2010 Volvo has introduced several packages combining the most popular options.The 2010 Volvo C30 carries over from 2009.The front-wheel or all-wheel drive Flex is powered by a 262-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine. Available on all-wheel drive models only is a 355-hp 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine featuring EcoBoost. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, with the EcoBoost models providing steering wheel paddle shifters. Seven-passenger seating is standard on all trim levels. Available features include the SYNC communication and entertainment system, a Multi-Panel Vista Roof, interior refrigerator, and capless fueling. Standard safety features include four-wheel disc brakes with anti-lock, electronic stability and roll control, six airbags, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
