Happy National Donut Day, everyone! While some of us may have already celebrated this high-caloric holiday at our local Dunkin' Donuts or Tim Horton's, Chevrolet and Lexus have taken the opportunity to offer us delicious donuts of a different sort. Using a "professional donut maker" and a 2013 Camaro ZL1, Chevy has released a video of its 580-horsepower coupe laying down some serious rubber. Lexus has countered with its LFA supercar and, oddly, LPGA pro golfer Natalie Gulbis.

Just like many of the donut chains across the country, Chevy and Lexus are giving away these donuts for free. Not only do their donuts contain zero fat, they're also easily enjoyable over the Internet, albeit nowhere near as tasty as a Krispy Kreme. Scroll down to enjoy both videos.

"high-caloric " OF COURSE, OF cOURSE! AB is yet ANOTHER one of the goddamned health-nazis, telling me what I can and can't eat. Let me tell you, as a 6'1, 250 pound American, I'm enjoying National Donut day VERY much.

Dunkin' Donuts? Tim Horton's? Meh. Down south, Krispy Kreme rules the show.

As one who lives in the south, I't take Dunkin' Donuts and Time Horton's to Krispy Kreme any day of the week. KKs are not bad but just a little too sweet for my liking. As for Krispy Kreme ruling the south? I don't know about that, maybe 10 years ago. In my area, there's one Krispy Kreme and like four Dunkin' Donuts.

They Camaro was actually doing some nice tight donuts, compared to the golfer's version...

The Chevy is well controlled. That's why it ran a 2:57 to the 2:55 of the LFA on VIR in C&D's Lightning Lap. And it costs what? 1/8 of the LFA? The Chevy is heavy but very controlled. Camaro's are as big of giant killers as Corvettes these days.

I have to say the sound of that ZL1 is intoxicating. It also is a better video all around.

I have to say that the first few seconds of its romp sounded flat and blatty. Didn't sound like a V8 until the revs went higher.

No AWD burnouts? What a lame LFA video.... ZL1 was better.

That Camaro sounds like a pair of razors at the salon.

The Lexus driver did precision donuts where car control plays a big roll. The Chevy driver just did douchie mustang donuts. The kind where you just hold the steering wheel and punch the gas the whole time. Blip the LFA in 2nd gear with the steering wheel held in one position and mash it and it would've came up with the same results as the Chevy.

Camera perspective on the LFA video sucked couldn't even see the tire marks - and what's with a close up? The Camaro video was better, but it would have been even better if they could have gotten higher off the ground.
