Tesla co-founder J.B. Straubel aims to build world's top battery recycler
Straubel aims to leverage two partnerships, one with Panasonic Corp , the Japanese battery manufacturer that is teamed with Tesla at the Nevada gigafactory, and one announced weeks ago with e-commerce giant Amazon . Amazon orders 1,800 Mercedes-Benz electric vans for European deliveries

The report did not mention the exact purchase price and added Amazon is unlikely to disclose it when the deal is announced, likely to be on Friday.
