Despite the corporate hiccup presented by Audi's diesel emissions scandal, the German carmaker works to keep its luxury mojo rolling with an all-new A4, allroad A4, R8 (pictured) and Q7.
AUDI A3/S3: Audi's smallest US model boasts a new front fascia, rear bumper, standard 17-inch rims and available virtual cockpit. Also, Audi pre sense basic and pre sense front are standard across the lineup. In addition to optimized handling and aero mods, the S3 receives a bump in horsepower - to 292 - and an increase in athleticism, with its 0-60 time dropping to 4.7 seconds, according to the manufacturer.
A4/S4: Audi's popular four door is all-new, with more power, redesigned exterior, improved interior space and standard leather seating. More details on a 2018 S4 will be announced closer to its introduction.
A5/S5: The '17 model year changes are in trim, and A5 remains available with a 6-speed manual. Upcoming is a Sportback model, similar to Audi's 5-door treatment with the A7.
A5 Cabriolet: Only trim changes are made to Audi's 4-place droptop for 2017.
A6/S6: The four door's new 3.0T competition model offers quattro all-wheel drive and a sport differential, in combination with a 340-horsepower V6 and sport suspension.
A7/S7: The five-door variant of Audi's A6/S6 receives those same updates.
A4 allroad: This year's allroad is all-new, offering quattro all-wheel drive with ultra technology, standard adaptive dampers, increased ground clearance and enhanced underbody protection. Sunroof, leather seating and three-zone climate control are now standard.
Q3: The smallest Audi crossover offers standard leather, a newly available Sport Plus package with 19-inch wheels, sport front seats and minor trim changes.
Q5: For '17 the compact crossover offers only trim changes, with an all-new Q5 waiting in the wings for model year 2018.
Q7: The upmarket/upscale Q7 is all-new, and is Audi's largest, most expensive crossover – until Audi's new Q8 is formally announced.
R8: The mid-engined, 'accessible' exotic is all-new, now with V10 only.
RS 3: A new high-performance offshoot of the A3/S3 was announced at the 2017 New York Auto Show. With limited numbers available for the 2017 model year, the main push into showrooms - and customer garages - will come in midsummer. It will be offered with Audi's 2.5 liter five cylinder, delivering 400 horsepower and a 0-60 time of under 4 seconds.
