It's always a dangerous time when an automaker redesigns a top seller. Not only are there legions of past and current owners who expect to be impressed, there are also a whole slew of new buyers the automaker is looking to entice. With that in mind, we present the brand-new 2013 Honda Accord.

2013 Honda Accord PHEVYes, you've seen Honda's redesigned midsize standard bearer before, right on these pages. But have you seen every available trim level from every conceivable angle? No? Well then, allow us to share with you this bounteous cornucopia of image gallery goodness.

For your viewing pleasure, we present the Honda Accord EX-L sedan, EX-L V6 Coupe, Sport sedan, Touring sedan and last but not least, PHEV. Wait, we take that back. When it comes to its unique styling, the PHEV is indeed the least... if you judge it by its efficiency, though, you can expect it to be at the tip of the Accord iceberg.

Check out the Accord in all its various forms in the image galleries above and below. If you actually click on all 361 photos, we'll be truly impressed.

There is an awful lot of uneducated folks and rednecks posting comments here. These are the same people who do not understand the concept of reliability or timeless style. Please stop caring about "now" and think about the future. That Hyundai, wow, looks great and costs less! Oh wait the interior is just cheap flimsy plastic, body is a plastic shell, and the transmission dies in 3 years. But who cares right? Buying it for looks, that's the mentality. Now about the Accord. The Accord conservative? Looks elegant, even aggressive to me, and could even rival a Mercedes in looks. Calling out the Accord for having a taillight that looks like another car? Why not just call out every manufacturer for even having a taillight. I don't see anyone bashing on Ford for their grotesque copying the Mitsubishi Lancer's headlights and Aston Martin's grille. I wonder why? That's right, nationalists so blinded by their American might that they refuse to criticize their own country's company. It's stylish and American made, so who cares? Am I right rednecks?

That Hyundai looks good? Have fun fixing it in a couple of years. Oh you must also be loving the cheap interiors too.

I like it, except for that PHEV front end. Too many companies going with bigger headlights and gaping front grill treatments. They all seem to say "Look at me", and not necessarily in a good way.

Alright, here I go... This thing is going to look better in ten years than anything else in the segment. The design is simple and clean, and everyone is bitching about that now just like they did back in 1990 for the 4th gen. People say Honda has lost its way, but they're offering a 6-speed sedan (sport) with ACTUAL sporty elements including extra-bolstered seats, not just stupid body cladding. The 4-banger is probably a gem of an engine that will run to 300,000 miles. This is everything the Accord ever was, and just like the old ones, it will probably be rattling down the road 30 years from now. I'm not sure what people really expected, but I don't think there's any reason to be disappointed. It's a great car, and if you don't like it, don't buy one.

And then there are those that cannot afford a nice car with good performance so they name themselves after a Korean compact family car! HA HA HA!!!!! They are angry and jealous over others that can buy a nice car so they get onto autoblog and post angry rants about others to make them feel good about their little Korean family car! Simple, very sad, very true, and very pathetic!

SonataGuy - You are just one of those lonely guys without a wife or girlfriend that uses your free time (because you have no life) to post on AUTOBLOG (a car website) about politics because you have NO ONE to talk to at home. All of your anger, because of your lonely life, is directed toward politics because you have nothing else to focus on!

I don't think it will age any better or worse than anything else in its segment. There's really nothing wrong with it most everything else just doesn't suck when compared to it. Its really is a good thing there aren't any bad cars anymore, plenty great choices. Honda has continued to make great cars everyone else finally caught up.

It's the fact that all of the other automakers have caught up to or passed Honda, while they seem to be stuck in the mud. But you're right about Honda's cars, they're reliable, but they seem to be missing that certain something that they used to have in recent years.

Okay, that's I friggin' give up. The only folks who'll think this is worthy of the Honda badge are the cross-eyed designers. So, Honda has gone from making appliances to making odd-looking appliances. Honda & Chevy (2013) Malibu must be engaged in some sort of race to the bottom. Is this an inside joke? let us in on it, please.

Oh God, I about died when I read that "race to the bottom" comment. It made me think of that ancient Fountains of Wayne song Sink To The Bottom. In fact, the lyrics almost tell the story of what's going on with new Accord and Malibu. "Cars on the highway, planes in the air - Everyone else is going somewhere - But I'm going nowhere - getting there soon - I might as well just sink down with you". I'm sure mechanically the Accord will be fine, but it sure isn't anything to look at. As for the Malibu, it's just a big disappointment. It's as if they phoned in the redesign from... ...Korea.

Ok. I had to come here for a second day in a row to laugh some more! Upon reading the sentence again, it's the word "engaged" that sends me over the edge. Imagine two divers with knives fighting it out to the bloody end, sinking deeper and deeper into the murky abyss. Someone needs to take your idea and film a commercial.

Looks like a mix of equal parts last-gen Impala, Genesis sedan and fail. Come on Honda, let's put a little effort into this thing.
