The Infiniti Inspired Performers series takes Red Bull Formula One team drivers out of the cockpit and into videos that require a different skill set. As part of his ongoing role in the campaign, Sebastian Vettel has now given up kung-fu in China on the Mission Impossible set for wheelman work in New Jersey on a music video set with singer Melanie Fiona and the song "Watch Me Work."

Sure, driving and drifting an Infiniti G37 Convertible doesn't sound like a big step away from his day job, but Vettel also helps get the party started, and gets to play DJ. You can watch him and Fiona work in the video below, plus have a look at the behind-the-scenes.

lame commercial is lame and they are proving once again the pairing an F1 champion to the FX for a limited edition wasn't the best move, even if I believe the FX is their best selling car.

Why is it necessary to vibrato every note? Sounds like crap. Cant carry a note? No problem just vibrato!

Was that a music video, or an ad for Infiniti?

Hardly anyone in the US is going to know who Vettel is. They need to make F1 better known in the US to be able to use Vettel or anyone else from the F1 world. I like Vettel but we aren't accustomed to European culture and mannerisms. Take the interview with David Letterman that was awkward in my opinion but with another European interviewing him like the Top Gear episode when Clarkson interviewed him was hilarious I think.
