2018 Camaro ZL1 1le

Everything I was hoping for and more. Very fast, responsive and a lot of fun to drive. The only issues are the visibility out of the car, but the safety features help overcome this and the very low profile of the car makes it hard for others to see you in the rear view mirror in parking lots. In my 2015 ZL1 I was backed into in a McDonald's parking lot. Another parking lot and I would have been hit in my 2018 ZL1 1le if I hadn't had the horn going and me screaming out of the window at the top of my lungs. When my car was in for service at Dale Earnhardt someone backed into it. So don't park or stop behind anyone unless they know you're there. Always find a parking spot. It is a very fun car to drive and It will do what you ask of it. I have not come across a car that can beat it. The Charger, Demon, Hellcat, Mustang GT and even the Corvette can't hang with it even though some have more HP and are lighter. The Corvette ties the ZL! 1le in the rolling start 1 mile race. On the road I have had another care change into my lane on the interstate and I believe had I been in any other car it would have been a collision, but I was able to avoid him due to the handling, brakes, eLSD and speed sensitive electric power steering and lane change safety alarms. As far as sports cars go, it's as pure as they get. With numerous settings on the performance that go from snow/ice to tour, sport 1, sport 2 to track, you can change the cars setup with the push of a button to suit your desired driving conditions. I would advise not putting the car in Sport 2 or Track unless you are on a Track or isolated road due to the fact that these settings turn off most safety features and turn it into a pure race car and with its power, it can get away from you in a hurry and if that happens, you become a passenger until it stops no matter your skill level. It has incredible traction, but if she breaks loose you could be in for an exciting and not fun(terrifying) few seconds. Also the F1 summer tires will wear out very quick if abused or driven to aggressively so think twice about letting your teen driver drive it. It does have a teen driver mode. Also the Chevrolet app will keep track of every hard start, hard braking and overall driving performance for every foot driven. Also my car has the Performance Data Recorder so you can have the car video any trips or it can be used on the Track that will give you all kinds of data and video of your performance. It's a great car.
