2019 Ford Focus sedan spotted with snarky new wrapper

Fresh puns appear on the Focus

Once again, the new Ford Focus small sedan has appeared with a thin vinyl wrap. It's a newer design than the last one, and one with more puns. It has a pop-art look with some cartoon, no pun intended, speech bubbles, one of which has the oh-so-clever phrase, "We've got to keep this under wraps!" It has the same hashtag as the last few Focuses we've seen "#TimeToFocus."

Since the last couple of Focuses we've seen had minimal camouflage, too, there aren't many revelations to be found. We can get a better idea of how the triangular foglights and vents below them fit together to make one triangular shape. We can also see a bit of trim that will connect them visually across the lower middle grille. Around the back, the taillights wrap around the rear fenders pretty far, something we couldn't quite tell on the last sedan we saw. This sedan features the fancier LED lamps we've seen on the hatchback prototype, and the car generally has a more taut, clean design with fewer deep creases and curves.

We know that the Focus is extremely close to being revealed, in part because of these thinly veiled prototypes, but also because of leaked images of an uncovered hatch. We've been expecting the car to make its debut during this auto show season, and that leaves the New York Auto Show as about the only really big international show for a debut. If it doesn't show up there, it could show up at the start of the next auto show season with the L.A. show.
