In this clip from Jay Leno's Garage, we get a double dose of stars that love cars. In addition to the denim-clad comedian, we also get to see Patrick Dempsey, star of Grey's Anatomy, accomplished race car driver, and possessor of the nickname "McDreamy." The pair get some seat time in a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 RS, which Dempsey describes as "the essence" of Porsche.
Dempsey has the wheel for the duration of the video, and he compliments its power, but he has some reservations about the handling and braking. He also reveals that he isn't a big fan of racing vintage cars on track, in part because of a lack of safety. Leno and Dempsey don't only talk about the car though. Leno also talks to Dempsey about how the actor got into cars. As it turns out, his dad was a car nut also and passed down the enthusiasm to Dempsey.
