A fuel leak can develop if the insufficiently crimped wires get too hot and melt. Owners may smell gasoline inside the cabin, and will see a check engine light
in the dash. Initial reports of the defect came in June of 2011.
None have been reported.
Dealers will replace the fuel pump, a process that will take several hours to complete.
