Father and son bond over a 1965 Mustang on Petrolicious

Addison Lee grew up in the pits of vintage races while his dad competed in a Cobra. When the time came to get a car for high school, he and his father built a gorgeous 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback. He recently put a 430-horsepower 347-cubic inch stroked V8 in it, and Lee shows off the prodigious grunt in the latest episode of Petrolicious.

While the hood and paint scheme of Lee's Mustang hint that it's a Shelby, he's quick to clarify that the car is just a regular fastback. The heap of powertrain and suspension modifications likely make this 'Stang as quick or better than a real GT350, though. Lee chucks the coupe through some beautiful tree-lined roads in this clip.

Building the Mustang together formed a closer bond between Lee and his dad. Now, the son has followed in his father's footsteps by hitting the track, too. This fantastic Mustang stays on the street, but Lee also races a 'Stang in the SCCA. Get the full scoop on this family story in the Petrolicious video.
