Ohio Wal-Mart distribution center uses fuel cell forklifts

/
There's a Wal-Mart distribution center in Grove City, Ohio where some of the forklifts are powered not by standard lead acid batteries but high-tech fuel cells. Ohio Lt. Governor Bruce Johnson visited the center last week for a first-hand view of the forklifts and to promote fuel cell work in his state.
The warehouse machines had their batteries replaced by a consortium led by Cellex Power Products Corporation which will soon receive a US$1 million grant from the state's Third Frontier Fuel Cell Initiative. Four hydrogen forklifts are operating at two Wal-Mart distribution centers in Ohio.
