ArvinMeritor, Inc. announced last week that the company's Emissions Technologies Team received awards from Ford and Volkswagen. The Ford Motor Company gave the company a "Gold Award" for exemplary performance in 2005 and Volkswagen handed them an Excellence Award in 2006 for Quality. ArvinMeritor's LVS Emissions Technologies works on various emission-related issues, including diesel particulate filters. LVS Emissions Technologies provides some components to "virtually every car and light truck on the road today" according to the company.
ArvinMeritor also recently announced a quarterly dividend of 10 cents a share on the company's common stock payable Sept. 11, 2006, to holders of record at the close of business on Aug. 21, 2006.
