Monster.com says the future is now for alternative energy jobs

Now there's another reason to like green car technology; it can land you a job. Internet job site Monster sent out an email today hyping up various jobs in the alternative energy sector, including engineers for biofuels, government jobs in alternative energy, and electrochemists for hydrogen fuel cells. The page is incredibly optimistic on the future growth in the sector (unlike the previous post on the questionable future for ethanol plants), and Monster isn't all talk. The jobs they say are available are, well, available through postings on Monster itself. I think it's safe to say there will be a lot of workers needed in the alternative fuel economy of tomorrow (today). How long the incredible expansion numbers we've seen recently can continue is a question that is worth discussing. If you're in school now or about to start, then it might not be a bad idea to figure out your niche in the green energy sector.
