Our very good friend George Achorn over at Fourtitude let us know that Audi’s upcoming Gallardo-powered semi-supercar named the R8 has been caught testing on the Nurburgring in light disguise.
George also made the great point to us that Audi is getting very good at the art of the reveal. First there’s a constant barrage of leaked news, then prototypes with skimpy camo are caught while testing, then a microsite is revealed, then the press gets to meet the car in person, and then finally a motorshow debut.
We’re a week or so away from the official press reveal of the next generation Audi TT on April 6th, which has been predictably preceded by a tangled web of rumors, a wave of spy shots and a microsite.
