Aussie Camry Sportivo

We thought it'd be interesting to see what the Australian take is on the best selling car in the U.S. Australia has a pretty sporting crowd as Camry's competition including rear-wheel drive Ford Falcons and Holden Commodores. Where does the FWD V-6 stand with the likes of other sports sedans in OZ? Basically the same as it is here in the states. Plenty capable but "it lacks any distinction in its class". Toyota has taken Australia by storm in the SUV segment and is now the top selling make, but the Holden Commodore is still the number one selling passenger car and has been since 1996.
