Toyota recalls 2000 & 2001 Celicas

Poor Celica fans. Not only do they lose the chance of purchasing a new model in the foreseeable future, but now 92,577 2000 and 2001 model year Celicas are being recalled because the daytime running lights equipped are too bright. The amped up lamps could be dangerous to oncoming drivers and the NHTSA says dealers will repair vehicles for free starting in March. So for the next three months make sure to have sunglasses on in case a Celica approaches during daylight hours.

Oh and for those new Chevy Cobalt owners out there, 1,378 of the new coupes have been recalled due to a faulty headlight bulb. I haven't even seen one in the flesh and there's already a recall.
