Yet another special-edition Bugatti Veyron spotted in Dubai

All Bugatti Veyrons are special, but some are most special than others. After seeing the seemingly endless parade of special editions of this most exclusive of supercar, George Orwell would have revised his work. Now, following the Sang Noir, Pur Sang, Fbg by Hermes, Grand Sport, a rumored Grand Sport Sang Noir, the Pegaso, a mirror-finish example and even the aftermarket Mansory Vincero, come these snapshots of yet another special edition Veyron.
This one-off, apparently spotted in Dubai's Mall of the Emirates (the same location where the Pegaso edition was seen), appears to have been made by Bugatti at its Molsheim headquarters for what is doubtlessly a very wealthy customer in Dubai. The car is painted in French Racing Blue, the most iconic of Bugatti colors, accented by brushed chrome trim all over and the wheels look similar to those employed on the aforementioned Hermes edition. Company founder Ettore Bugatti's signature is repeated on the door panel as well as in the interior and on the door sill plates. No telling if this special EB edition Veyron has had any mechanical changes, but we wonder how much more special a Bugatti can be expected to get. Considering the concentration of Veyrons in the Emirates, apparently an "ordinary" Veyron just ain't special enough.

Okay, I'll get it out of the way: Any more special editions and the Veyron will be as bad as the Mustang.

Mustang of the super rich.

I think I have reasonably good taste, so why does it seem like I am the only person who does not find these cars attractive?

because it's not an attractive 'looking' car. But knowing that under girl skirt is heaven on earth....that's why people love it.

No you're not the only one. I can't get past the horse-collar grill.
Anyway, at least it isn't completely gold-plated or jewel encrusted or whatever.

You're right. They aren't attractive at all. In fact, they're ugly. Looks like a bad set piece for the 5th Element.
I like the color. French Blue usually looks great on cars, unfortunately it doesn't on this one.

Too much going on with the Veyron's styling. Like the RX8. Just no one main theme. It is too bust to looks cool and sexy.

Hmm, I have to say.. I don't like this one.. It looks cheap to me. I guess it is the color of the paint. Cause at first I thought it was going to be a story about a knock off, or someone finally made one out of a Fiero . The paint just kinda makes it look like plastic in my opinion. And the wheels don't seem to match the car.

good point, those do look like aftermarket wheels

Agreed. I like the look of most Veyrons (not exactly beautiful, just stunning), but this paint job looks way tacky. It's like MS Paint Blue.

As if the standard model isn't special enough. Some people's vanity doesn't know its limit. Or do they have such an insecurity issue? : )
I take enough excitement from getting a chance of test driving a nice new model.

Ok i understand comparing to the mustang. but with what the Veyron is, isn't every example of the Veyron a special edition?

My comment was sarcastic. There is no comparison to the Mustang, or any other car really.

Is that Sheikh Mohammad's G55 parked behind the Veyron?

Is anybody else that the best car in the world is made basically exclusively for Arabs? I mean. Come on. USA invented the car, and these freaking guys who are the most conservative religious nuts in the world get almost ALL of the veyrons?
This is crap. I want an electric car so I can avoid giving them any more money.

A German, Karl Benz, invented the car. Not an American.

USA invented the car?
Nice. This is why the USA is in the trouble it's in. the only thing that surpasses our arrogance is our stupidity.
That is also why the rest of the world is buying Veyrons and we aren't, we have sold our country out, we send all our money to other nations buying crap we don't need (oil being the one exception, and even that we don't need so much of), and expect the rest of the world to do what ever we want. News flash, it don't work that way. we don't have any manufacturing, we don't have any engineering, we farm out IT. We have no goods to sell. so how do we ever pay off our debts?
and it was a german who invented the first gas powered car, and the french invented the first steam car in the 1700's

I heard "most" Veyrons are in the US.

Jeez...
Rob, you are no doubt thinking of Henry Ford. While the Model T is one of the first automobiles, Henry did not invent the automobile. What he did invent is the modern assembly line which allows for today’s mass production.
History, read it, its FUNdamental!
