Peugeot reveals top 10 design entries

The Peugeot Design Contest we told you about in December is almost over, and now the entries have been cut down to 10 and there are some seriously fanciful, futuristic concepts in the remaining contestants. Normally designs such as these would never make it into metal, but Peugeot will choose one by the end of this month to actually build. Look for that one-off sometime in September.
Be sure to check out the semi-finalists in our galleries, as well as the other nine finalists after the jump.
These are the 10 finalists. Click on the photos or their names for their galleries.

There are some very good entries. I chose the Speedlite Concept it looks like the Birdcage design we saw a few years ago.

I sure hope that cars of the future really do get as unique and diverse and these cars. Looks like the future of car design is very bright!

Rather interesting cluster of concepts.
The Flux, eMotion, MiawaoO and "beetle" looking 910 have the most appeal to me; in no particular order.
The CUB, Speedlite, Plair and LiiON also are nice too.
I don't quite know what to think of the N Jooy.
Hey, it might be great ride.
Several have a retro appearance but I like the progressive, aggressive appearance of all of these.

I like the ones that look like cars, not like 4 wheeled motorcyles with scant passenger room -- but all these are valid.
I would choose the first one (Meow??) or the Flux, which is sort of a Corvette, gone mad!

I like most of them, but especially the Allscape because it looks like it could be practical and fun to drive. Forget the future and start building these cars now. The automotive world needs more variety.

OK, that soccer ball-wheeld one is just plain weird.
