You know what would be cool? If Mercedes brought its bonkers G500 4x4 to America.
For the Frankfurt Motor Show, Brabus takes the Mercedes-Benz G500 4X4 up to 493 horsepower and 523 pound-feet of torque. Those huge numbers come with bold styling to match.
Mercedes confirms the G500 4x4² for production, complete with a foot and a half of ground clearance and a price tag second only to the G65 AMG - and the previous G63 6x6.
Mercedes has announced a series of updates for the G-Class, including a new G500 with an AMG-derived 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 and more power across the board.
Slotting in between the standard G-Class and the gargantuan G63 AMG 6x6 is the new Mercedes-Benz G-Class 4x4², pictured here for the first time in production guise ahead of next week's full reveal.
