According to industry analysts, the wholesale value of used large SUVs in April was down 4.1 percent over last year, and 4.7 percent from March.

American Axle looks to shake loose "job bank"

American Axle Manufacturing (AAM), one of General Motors' main suppliers, isn't bankrupt,but it is feeling financial pain from the 1,100 workers that it is currently paying not to work. Consumer gas price concerns reflected in on-line searches

According to the Internet analysis and research firm Hitwise, America's concern over high gas prices has sparked a sharp increase in on-line searches for alternative fuel sources.
