Ford’s Transit Wagon is a van aimed at Baby Boomers

Ford unveiled its 2019 Transit Connect Wagon at the Chicago Auto Show. The Blue Oval is marketing the 7 passenger van to Baby Boomers and entrepreneurs. Ford is marketing the Wagon to Baby Boomers. Who want space, versatility, and technology “without the expensive minivan price tag.” The Wagon has space for up to seven passengers. Which Ford says is perfect for small business needs, hobbies, and grandkids. Automatic emergency braking is standard, a feature that includes pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection. The Wagon is available with a 1.5-liter EcoBlue diesel engine or 2.0-liter four-cyl gasoline engine. Both are paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Inside the wagon there is a 6.5-inch floating touchscreen with standard embedded 4G LTE modem. The Transit Connect Wagon will go on sale this fall pricing details to come.
