2017 Infiniti Model Year Preview and Updates

Nissan's upscale Infiniti franchise expands its lineup for 2017 with the launch of an all-new QX30 and its sporting derivative, the QX30S. With all-wheel drive and slightly raised ride height, the QX30 serves as what Infiniti describes as a premium active crossover, while the 'S' fills the perceived need for an upmarket hatch. The launch of the QX30 aligns with the debut of the new Q60 sports coupe, which in a previous life existed as the G37. Infiniti is now a global brand; going forward its offerings will better reflect that.

INFINITI Q50: Infiniti's best-selling vehicle offers a new 2.0t Sport and 2.0t Sport AWD, along with a new Design Package for V6-equipped Sport models.

Q60: The latest iteration of Infiniti's compelling coupe offers all-new sheetmetal, both RWD and AWD platforms and three powertrains, including a twin-turbo, 400-horsepower V6.

Q70: A Premium Select Edition is added to the long-wheelbase Q70L, bringing unique exterior and interior accents, upgraded brakes and a 20-inch wheel/tire package.

QX30: This is an all-new premium active crossover sitting atop a Mercedes-sourced platform. Offered in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, the QX30 can be configured as either a mildly hot hatch or aggressively spec'd crossover.

QX50: With a recently introduced concept pointing the way to an all-new midsize crossover, the current model builds on its 2016 revisions, which included a longer wheelbase and more rear seat legroom, with revised packaging and an available 19-inch wheel/tire combo.

QX60: Infiniti's popular three-row crossover cruises into the model year with an upgraded V6 and available Motion Activated liftgate.

QX70: With a new Limited Package, this in-your-face SUV receives a new face offering a unique front fascia, grill and interior. The QX70 also gets two new colors, Hagane Blue and Majestic White.

QX80: Infiniti's biggest SUV receives revised packaging, the addition of both Trailer Sway Control and Forward Emergency Braking, and a newly available Mocha Almond exterior color. Introduced in 2016, the Signature Edition includes a suite of Infiniti's driver assistance technologies, including Backup Collision Intervention (BCI), Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Intelligent Cruise Control (Full-Speed Range), Distance Control Assist (DCA), Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Predictive Forward Collision Warning (PFCW), Blind Spot Intervention (BSI), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Lane Departure Prevention (LDP). In short, virtually everything you need to make the daily commute – or road trip – in a semi-autonomous fashion.
