On Friday, electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla Motors announced a new ?ludicrous mode? for it?s Model S sedan. Tesla developed an advanced smart fuse for its battery that increases max amp throughput from 1300 to 1500 amps. This means a 10% improvement in 0-60 times and a 20% improvement in the time to reach the vehicle?s top speed of 155 miles per hour.
