Video: Pickup Truck Slams Into Customers Sitting Inside Minnesota Bar

Six injured when driver experienced medical trouble, according to police

Six people enjoying an afternoon beverage at a Minnesota bar were injured when a pickup truck crashed through the wall. Three were pinned against the bar.

The accident occurred Wednesday afternoon in the St. Paul suburb of Little Canada. Three people remain hospitalized, but none of the injuries are life threatening, according to police, who said that the 51-year-old female driver of the pickup may have had a medical episode that preceded the crash.

Patrick Sazenski was the bartender on duty when the accident occurred. He saw a telephone pole in the parking lot fall a split second before the crash, giving him just enough time to leap from harm's way.

"We were sitting there and the next thing I know, I see a pole flying through the parking lot," he told WCCO. "Then I hear this bang."
