Back in late May, Renault launched its massive advertising campaign – intended to highlight the advanced technology of its quartet quintet of electric vehicles (Kangoo, Fluence, Twizy, Zoe and Twingo) – with the debut of a video that banged home the point that consumers depend upon electricity to power items used everyday and that using gasoline is, in some instances, utterly ridiculous.

We still think Renault's video is pretty clever, and we'll refrain from revealing too much with our words. Instead, hit the jump to go behind the scenes of Renault's "The Electric Life" clip.
