Citroën Survolt with Vanina Ickx – Click above to watch video after the jump

Last weekend, Citroën introduced a rolling version of its Survolt concept to the crowds attending this year's edition of the Le Mans Classique. Flaunting its oh-la-la sexiness around the Circuit de la Sarthe, this all-electric object of our desire looked even hotter in person than it did in the black and white teaser we were shown earlier. Having the doors attached probably helped.

Gripping the wheel for its debut was the lovely and talented Vanina Ickx who has more than a passing familiarity with the 8.47 miles of turns and straights of this classic French track. However, since this appearance was more promotional than competitive, her driving skills were never really challenged. Alas.

Perhaps – and with apologies to Ms. Ickx – a more interesting tidbit we learned was the origin of the drivetrain propelling the concept car. According to our friends at Green GT, they were the ones responsible for supplying and incorporating the 200 kilowatts worth of electric motors, the batteries to supply the energy and the control system to orchestrate the performance into the car. Though it's unclear whether Citroën will bring the Survolt to a street near you, you can hit the jump for video of it on the track. And dream.
