GM has plenty of choices for hybrid/EV engineers

A few weeks back we told you that General Motors had put out a casting call for engineers and technicians to work on their advanced powertrain systems. People heard the call and turned out in droves. GM is looking for 400 staff to help make vehicles like the Volt and Sequel a reality in the coming years and they received over 7,000 resumes.

Human resources staff at GM sifted through the resumes looking for the right skill sets and invited 600 of the applicants in for interviews at a career fair being held at a top-secret location in the Detroit Area. Hopefully they will find the right staff to help them ramp up the development pace on those transformational new products.
