This isn't the first set of spy shots of the M3 convertible that we've come across, of course. But the all-but-completely undisguised test mule seen roaming the streets gives us what could be the best view yet.
The M3 convertile will feature the same 420-horsepower V8 and host of electronic driving aids as its fixed-roof counterpart, only expect it to cost even more and perform a little poorer in exchange for the push-of-a-button convenience of having an open-air driving experience at your fingertips, and complete protection from the elements when you don't. We're looking forward to seeing this car in the flesh at the Frankfurt show in September.
