Eagle County shows off 20 new Prius hybrids; expects $21,000 annual savings in fuel

Officials in Colorado's mountain ski country are so proud of their new fleet of 20 Prius hybrids, they lined them up for a display and invited the media, including the CBS affiliate out of Denver (check out the video from the link). The 20 Toyotas will replace about half of Eagle County's light-vehicle fleet, and officials say taxpayers will save about $21,000 a year in fuel and other expenses. The county is also involved in other green measures, including heating their buildings with renewable energy and working on ways to improve recycling.
