Everybody knows that the EPA mileage numbers on window stickers of new cars are seriously inflated compared to real world numbers. For 2008, the EPA is changing the way they calculate the mileage numbers in an attempt to make the estimates more realistic. If you are currently shopping for a car or truck and want to get an idea of what the new numbers will be, you can head over to Kiplingers.com where they have a special site set up that allows you to select a car or truck, and then see the 2007 and 2008 mileage numbers along with the numbers for the best and worst vehicles in the same size class.
