Peugeot's revised Partner vans with Euro IV 1.6 liter diesel engines are cleaner, more powerful

Small businesses in the UK that like the size and style of Peugeot's Partner van lineup and have a desire to go green will be happy to know that the revised Partner vans, with a new Euro IV 1.6 liter HDi diesel engine, are 30 percent more fuel efficient, put out 24 percent fewer CO2 emissions and provide 35 percent more pulling power. Continuing its leading position of offering low emission vehicles, Peugeot has revised the engine line up in the Partner van range.

The two model range of the Peugeot Partner van is now available with Peugeot's class leading Euro IV 1.6 litre DV6 HDi diesel engine. The engine, available in two power outputs of 75 and 90 bhp provides the Partner with improved performance and great pulling power (torque up 35% compared to the old 1.9 litre diesel engine). This extra pulling power, however, does not come with any hidden costs as the new engine is 31.5 % more fuel efficient (Combined cycle) and emits 24% less CO2 at 143 g/km compared to the 187 g/km of the old engine.

As for the old 2.0 litre HDi diesel engine, the new engine produces the same power output but has 5% more pulling power and uses 9.3% less fuel (Combined cycle).

With greater pulling power, reduced running costs due to the improved fuel efficiency and the same versatility and practical packaging, the Peugeot Partner is without doubt a tradesman's ideal partner.
