It was good enough to propel the Audi R10 to overall victory at Le Mans and through the 2006 ALMS season, and now select UK Shell stations will be offering the company's V-Power diesel fuel for use in the citizenry's daily drivers. It's said to deliver more power and clean cars' engines, but the alleged benefits come at a price: 6p/liter more than regular diesel.
But hey, if your daily driving routine involves fantasies of hurtling down the Mulsanne Straight in your Vauxhall, then maybe this is for you. At the very least, you'll be making the Shell shareholders (say it fast) happy.
