Ford scores high in Dow Jones sustainability indexes

Each year since 1999, Dow Jones, STOXX Limited and SAM Group have prepared the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI), a list of companies that they determine to be "global sustainability leaders". Ford sent out a press release announcing that they were on the DJSI once again. The finances of the companies on the index are reviewed through, "assessment of performance in areas such as corporate governance, risk management, branding, climate change, supply chain standards and labor practices" and are determined to be "sustainability-driven". Ford has been on the DJSI since 2001.
Just a note if you try to find the list of all the companies in the DJSI yourself from the DJSI website. The site is a perfectly unclear corporate mess, and when I tried to register and download some information, I was greeted with, "Account information couldn't be sent because of internal database error". Good luck, and if any other car companies are on the list (and I assume they are), could you let us know? Thanks.
