Peter and the Bus preaches on biofuels

From windsurfing pro to veggie oil educator, Jens-Peter Jungclaussen's life is connected to nature. Jungclaussen was once ranked 26th in the world in windsurfing but today he travels around California (mostly) in a veggie oil-powered converted 1968 school bus. Jungclaussen bought the bus on eBay and developed it into a mobile classroom to teach about biofuels with help from the Geothe Institute. Jungclaussen, who is also a biology teacher, also uses the bus as a "mobile art venue, dance floor, conference room, dining room, movie screening and presentation room, and has hosted many birthday, engagement as well as bachelor/bachelorette parties", according to his website, Das Fracht Gut.

A private visit from the bus isn't cheap. Jungclaussen charges $130 an hour (with a four hour minimum) plus gratuity for private events. Corporate events are priced differently, but you've gotta call to find out how much different. Jungclaussen also offers free field trips for students.
